Our Season of Performing Arts
From World Stage to Local Artists, there’s something for everyone during our Season of the Performing Arts!
For 35 years, the Harrison Festival Society has presented a lively Season of Performing Arts between September and May. The Season consists of eight to ten shows featuring local, national and international performers at the Harrison Memorial Hall in our beautiful lakeside community.

Gary Comeau & The Voodoo Allstars possess a unique and original flair that lays out a soundscape of the jazz, roots, latin & r&b blues from the cultural rich history of New Orleans. From the jazz influence of Louis Armstrong, the New Orleans piano sounds of Professor Longhair, Fats Domino, Dr. John & Allen Toussaint to the funky sounds of the Neville Brothers, Gary weaves his own musical gumbo style.
Darren Charlie
In view of the beautiful Harrison Lake, Darren will share stories and legends of the Harrison from the Sts’ailes oral tradition. He will discuss the pictographs from the area, and the history and meaning that they convey through the generations, including moral teachings and stories of important cosmological beings such as that of Xhalls the transformer.
Harrison Ukulele Gathering
Summer is ukulele season; come join enthusiastic locals. Bring a ukulele and good humour to our gathering. We’ll share beginner tips on how to play and gather, then dive in to play old favs and new-to-you tunes. Yoga on the Beach
Back and better than ever, we have Yoga on the Beach daily July 8th – 16th at 9:00am – 10:00am by the Beach Stage. A creative blend of experiences… the precision of the Iyengar tradition, the flow of a Vinyasa class, and the deep realization of Ancient Kriya.
