John Muirhead is a Toronto-based troubadour crafting big-hearted indie-folk songs for dreamers, wanderers, and hopeless romantics.
From fingerpicked confessionals to full-band singalongs, John’s award-winning songs have connected with listeners around the world. With over 200,000 fans on social media, over 5 million Spotify streams, and 15 million+ TikTok views, John is building a vibrant community rooted in story, sincerity, and connection.
John has toured extensively across Canada and Europe and has earned nominations from both the Canadian Folk Music Awards and Ontario Folk Music Awards. He’s appeared at festivals like Winnipeg Folk Festival, CityFolk, Sound of Music Festival, and Sawdust City Music Festival, and has provided support for Canada’s top roots acts, including Arkells, Whitehorse, Joel Plaskett Emergency, and Craig Cardiff.
As a writer, John has collaborated with acclaimed artists including Simon Ward (The Strumbellas), Michigander, Jon Bryant, and many more, adding his distinct warmth and vulnerability to each new project he works on.
The show will begin at 7:30 pm but doors will open at 6:30 pm to avoid any lineups. A bar and concession will be available. The show will be two 45 min sets with a short intermission.
