This show is SOLD OUT! Our waitlist is also very ambitious at this point as well and we have decided to remove the link. Unfortunately, if you did not get a ticket, you are out of luck.

Jim Byrnes was born in St. Louis, Missouri – that’s blues country. He grew up on the city’s north side. One of the neighbourhood bars had Ike and Tina Turner as the house band. As a teenager going to music clubs, he and his buddy were often the only white people in the place. “We never had any problems. We were too naïve and had too much respect for the music and culture – they knew it, they could tell.”

By age thirteen, Jim was singing and playing blues guitar. His first professional gig was in 1964. Over the years, he has had the great good fortune to appear with a virtual who’s who of the blues. From Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker to Taj Mahal and Robert Cray, Jim has been on the blues highway for 45 years.

Byrnes moved to Vancouver, BC in the mid-70s after years of drifting, working odd jobs and playing music. In 1981 he put together a band that became a staple of the local music scene. In 1986 the Jim Byrnes Band played 300 nights.

The show will begin at 7:30 pm but doors will open at 6:30 pm to avoid any lineups. A bar and concession will be available. The show will be two 45 min sets with a short intermission.

You got questions, we got answers! Have a read of the following to gain an idea of what the night will look like.

Will I be able to grab a drink and a snack at the show?

Yes, we will have a bar and concession at the show!

Will I be able to buy a CD or talk to the artist after the show?

It depends on the artist. We will have an area set up just for this, but it depends on how comfortable each artist feels about it. We usually find out about merch the day of, but we will update this when we know more. If merch is available, please bring a debit or credit card, no cash.

Patrons will not be asked to wear a mask, however, because Covid is still spreading, we do encourage them.

Where do I park?

There is lots of parking just outside the venue. Pay parking is no longer a thing in Harrison, well at least from Sept 15th- June 15th.

yes.

No, this show will not be available online.

If I don’t feel well, am experiencing any symptoms, or have been exposed to a known case of COVID-19, will I get my money back if I don’t come.

We really don’t want any sign of this virus anywhere near us, so don’t let the price of the ticket stop you from doing the right thing. We’ll get you your money back, just get in touch and we’ll figure it out.

Will I be able to buy my ticket at the door?

Yes, we will be able to process last-minute sales at the door. We accept Debit, Credit and cash!
