Indigenous Drum Making With Darren Charlie
Join us for what has become a festival favourite workshop on Sunday, July 21st at 1:00pm. Darren Charlie will once again be sharing his acclaimed drum-making skills for all those wishing to attend. Darren has more than 30 years of drum-making experience and was taught by elders from the Sts’ailes community.
Attendance is by donation but drum kits vary in price from $45- $135 depending on size. We suggest purchasing your drum kit ahead of time as supplies may be limited on the day. You can purchase your kits here or by calling our Festival Office at 604.796.3664 during regular business hours. Once purchased, Darren will prepare your kit for the workshop and bring it to the event.
