Join ranconteur-extraordinaire Grant Lawrence for an evening to remember, as he brings his hit “Stories and Songs” show back to Harrison. Get ready for an evening filled with true stories about outlandish BC coastal characters from past and present. Grant will read from his new #1 bestselling book “Return to Solitude”, his top-rated podcasts, (“Hermit of Desolation Sound”, “Cougar Lady Chronicles” ) and his first bestseller, “Adventures in Solitude.” The stories will be complemented by songs performed by Juno Award-winning artists and feature performers Jay Malinowski (Bedouin Soundclash), Kathryn Calder (New Pornographers), and Grant’s wife, folk-jazz chanteuse Jill Barber. The show at the Memorial Hall starts at 7pm, there is an intermission, and concludes at 9pm.
The show will begin at 7 pm but doors will open at 6pm to avoid any lineups s. A bar and concession will be available. The show will be two 45 min sets with a short intermission.
