The Unfaithful Servants

The Unfaithful Servants

BC’s most exciting Newgrass band! The Unfaithful Servants have gained a reputation in Western Canada as a must-see act. With an original and exciting approach to acoustic music, the group serves up explosive instrumentals, compelling story-telling and high-powered vocals. As Kelly Nakatsuka (Islands Folk Festival, CBC host) describes “ The Unfaithful Servants are one of the most exciting bands from Vancouver Island in some time…gorgeous harmonies and fine song writing, beautiful instrumental interplay and some seriously rippin’ solos “ With critically acclaimed performances under their belt (Vancouver Island MusicFest, Salmon Arm Roots & Blues, The Islands Folk Festival) and a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination (New Group of The Year) they continue to build upon that buzz. The band remains anchored by the virtuosic mandolin playing of Jesse Cobb and the prolific songwriting of Dylan Stone. They are excited to be joined by new members, young talent Quin Etheridge (Quin with one N) on fiddle and Louis Rudner on bass.

Charlie A'Court

Planted at the crossroads of roots and soul, Charlie A’Court possesses a mighty voice, fierce guitar work and contemporary songwriting that is loved by fans across Canada and beyond. His new album, “San Palarino” comes out October 4, and is an Americana-driven deep dive into growing older, emotional well-being, and the collective weight bearing down on humanity. Much of the album features co-writes with some of Canada’s top singer/songwriters including Matt Andersen, Terra Spencer, and Colin MacDonald (The Trews). The music is drawing directly from his influences like Martin Sexton, Melissa Etheridge, Hot House Flowers, and Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit.
