Marc Atkinson is one of Canada’s finest JUNO-nominated, Western Canadian award-winning musicians. He is the leader and composer of the internationally renowned Marc Atkinson Trio (and co-founder, composer and performer in the acclaimed, The Bills). The music of this virtuosic group is melodically captivating, sensually charged and ferociously, technically awe-inspiring.

The Marc Atkinson Trio IV pushes the boundaries of this instrumental group even further than the first three CDs. It is a technically demanding, melodic and rhythmically pulsing 50 minutes of music. The new CD includes 11 Marc Atkinson original compositions and one impressive rearrangement of a Russian Rag. The compositions glide seamlessly from unusual beauty, to raucous rhythm. If you are a lover of the guitar, instrumental music or just music, you will love this new recording.

The show will begin at 7:30 pm but doors will open at 6:30 pm to avoid any lineups. A bar and concession will be available. The show will be two 45 min sets with a short intermission.

Where will the show be?

The Harrison Memorial Hall. 290 Esplanade Ave.

Will there be bathrooms available?

Yes, bathrooms with either hand sanitizer or soap and water will be available.

How long will the concert be?

The band will play for two 45 min sets with a brief intermission.

Will I be able to grab a drink and a snack at the show?

Yes, we will have a bar and concession at the show!

Will I be able to buy a CD or talk to the artist after the show?

It depends on the artist. We will have an area set up just for this, but it depends on how comfortable each artist feels about it. We usually find out about merch the day of, but we will update this when we know more. If merch is available, please bring a debit or credit card, no cash.

Will I be able to sit beside my friends?

Yes, we will have round tables with 6-8 chairs setup at each.

Where do I park?

There is lots of parking just outside the venue. There is no pay parking to worry about.

Will seating be provided?

yes.

If I don’t feel well, am experiencing any symptoms, or have been exposed to a known case of COVID-19, will I get my money back if I don’t come.

We really don’t want any sign of this virus anywhere near us, so don’t let the price of the ticket stop you from doing the right thing. We’ll get you your money back, just get in touch and we’ll figure it out.

Will I be able to buy my ticket at the door?

Yes, we will be able to process last-minute sales at the door depending on availability. We accept Debit, Credit and cash!
