Welcome to the first-ever Harrison Virtual Artisan Market. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a couple years ago, we were unable to host our usual Artisan Market during the July Festival as well as the September Craft Market on the Labour Day long weekend. We did, however, present this replacement event and decided to keep it going! Hopefully this will help you get some shopping knocked off your list as well as support some of BC’s finest artists and organizations!

Dragonflies Ceilidh Fused Glass
Victoria Urbich is a fused glass artist based in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Mesmerized by the iridescent colours and the endless possibilities of hot glass, she began an 11 year journey into fused glass. She often uses the beauty of British Columbia in her designs which can be seen in her jewelery, functional art for the home and garden art.

Leftover Hippies Incense
I make all natural, hand rolled, herbal incense from scratch. I learned the traditional art of incense-making over 10 years ago and totally fell in love with it! My incense is created from raw herbs and plant materials and uses bark instead of charcoal as a burning agent, and gum as a binder. There are no chemical fragrances or manmade ingredients.

Helathbrights — Healthbrights
Healthbrights is located in Abbotsford (for now) and originally started out with studying nutrition and publishing a book on Children’s Health. Then transitioned to creating Gem Stone & Copper Wire Trees, onto Dream Catchers with gem stones in the webbing, Refreshing Room Spray, made with essential oils, and now Orgonite pucks. I am a botanical artist living, gardening and creating in Kaleden, B.C. For the past 30 years I have been creating art from my garden. I enjoy upcycling vintage ephemera items such as maps, postcards, sheet music etc., and customizing them into jewelry, bookmarks, keychains, and magnets to name a few.

Skinsation Naturally
Ina started experiencing skin irritation, food sensitivities and allergies to her environment over the last 10 years. And like most everyone in the same situation would do: stopped using dryer sheets, scented laundry detergent and converted to unscented soaps and skin care – but these products (even 8 years ago) were hard to find or if found, were expensive, quickly sold out and then were dis-continued and replaced with something containing harsh chemicals, perfumes or allergy causing ingredients. As soon as her first (of 9) grandchildren arrived back in 2012, Ina wanted to find natural and safe products for the babies and found they were incredibly over-priced or over-scented. Ina has never been one to sit idle and is curious to boot. She thought there had to be a way to get a consistent product at a reasonable price that contained only the simplest ingredients possible. It all started with the kid’s bubble bath and facial creams. The transition to formulating skin & body care products was easy and not far off from accounting! The bulk of the work is with the averages, weights, and percentages of the lovely, natural ingredients she uses. Thus, the creation of skinsationnaturally!
