Did Someone Say Sponsorship?
Learn how we can partner in bringing the arts to Harrison.
With world-class music and art like this of course we need Sponsors. Every donation we receive helps us put on a great show! We also want to spread the word about Music & Art as we support the next Gen of artists. We value all levels of sponsorship, from the spare change you have in your back pocket, to our higher levels of community sponsors. The Harrison Festival of the Arts thanks all of its partners and the community of Harrison, for letting us take over your beautiful village as we bring the best international Art & Music to your tranquil river shores!
A big bucketful of thanks to all our sponsors and community partners. You ARE the Fest! You help bring the best of the arts to BC!

Upcoming Events
The 35th Season of Performing Arts is well underway and off to a roaring start. With three shows under our belt, two of which sold out and the third being well attended, the winter and spring shows are looking as promising as ever!
Jim Byrnes
Jim Byrnes was born in St. Louis, Missouri – that’s blues country. He grew up on the city’s north side. One of the neighbourhood bars had Ike and Tina Turner as the house band. As a teenager going to music clubs, he and his buddy were often the only white people in the place. “We never had any problems. We were too naïve and had too much respect for the music and culture – they knew it, they could tell.”
Martin Harley
Martin Harley has been making music and touring the world for over two decades. His sound has never been more down to earth. Exploring roots, blues and slide guitar in a style The Guardian referred to as ‘Spellbinding’, Harley has released eight albums to date, four recorded on home soil and four across the Atlantic in Texas and Nashville.
Payadora Tango Ensemble
Payadora is an award-winning ensemble that performs its own arrangements of a core repertoire drawing from Argentinian/Uruguayan traditions (tangos, milongas, waltzes, and folk music such as the Zamba and chacarera), as well as original songs inspired by that tradition. Comprised of musicians who are each musical powerhouses in their own right, this “superstar group” has combined their profound love of tango with their classical, jazz and world music backgrounds to create something entirely new. Payadora is officially endorsed by the Argentinian Consulate in Toronto for its adherence to the spirit of tango, and audiences flock to performances that convey joy, virtuosity, humour and intense passion.
